AAUW St. George and DSU have created a strategic and successful partnership that brings vital programs such as TechSavvy and eSMART Camp for Girls to the greater St. George community. These two partners, and members the Utah Non-Profits Association (UNA), will lead an engaging discussion on creating partnerships that impact our citizens and build better communities that will inspire attendees to seek out new partnerships to create success for their programs and services.
The mission of AAUW St. George is to advance equity for women and girls in Utah through advocacy, philanthropy and education. The organization provides scholarships for DSU students and sponsors two annual STEM programs on the DSU campus for local youth.
Increasing community engagement is one of the primary goals of the DSU strategic plan for the next 4-6 years. As a member institution of UNA, the university hopes to position itself as an essential partner for community nonprofits and to recruit community members to serve as volunteers and mentors on campus.
All Southern Utah UNA Networking Events includes time for a relevant discussion, networking and the sharing of experiences with your non-profit peers. Networking events focus on nonprofit organizations, but are open to all community members.
